FinCheck ("App") is developed by SSB ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

FinCheck is a financial calculator application that performs EMI, GST, compound interest, and other financial calculations entirely on your device.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information.

FinCheck does not request, access, collect, or store:

  • Name, email address, or phone number
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID, Advertising ID)
  • Financial account information
  • Biometric or sensitive personal data
  • Usage analytics or crash reports
  • Camera, microphone, contacts, or sensor data

The numerical values you manually enter (such as loan amount or interest rate) are used only to perform calculations and are not stored permanently.

2. Local Processing

All calculations are performed locally on your device. The numbers you enter are processed temporarily in memory and are not transmitted to any external server.

3. Local Storage

The App may store a single user preference, such as your selected theme (light or dark mode), using Android’s private app storage system.

This preference:

  • Remains stored only on your device
  • Is not accessible to the developer
  • Is removed if you clear app data or uninstall the App

4. Permissions

FinCheck does not require sensitive Android permissions. The App does not require:

  • Internet access for core functionality
  • Location access
  • Camera access
  • Microphone access
  • Contacts access

5. Third-Party Services

FinCheck does not use:

  • Advertising networks
  • Analytics or tracking SDKs
  • Cloud storage services
  • External data processors

The App operates independently without third-party data collection services.

6. Children’s Privacy

FinCheck is intended for a general audience. Because the App does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect data from children or adults.

7. User Rights

Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is no personal information to access, modify, or delete. You may clear locally stored preferences through your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

8. Data Retention

We do not retain personal data. Any temporary calculation inputs are cleared when the App session ends.

9. International Data Transfers

No data is transmitted outside your device. International data transfers do not occur.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if app functionality changes or if required by law. Updates will be reflected by revising the “Last Updated” date above.
